Humiliatingly bad app: no comments, not even read-only

UPDATE
Stopped using the app completely until I just tried it out - opening an article takes me to a topic which then opens the external website viewer. Are any grown ups still working at Engadget?

For a tech blog Engadget should be humiliated by this app. It provides no comments to articles presumably deliberately, for what reason I cant imagine.
